Delete my account

This page explains how to request deletion of your MisNotas account (the app and the web portal), by K-Soft, and what happens to your data.

Steps

1. Send the email with your full name and your school's name. If the account belongs to your child under 18, write as their parent or guardian and include the student's name.
2. We will reply to that same email to confirm the request is yours.
3. We notify your school and delete the account within 30 days. We will confirm by email when it's done.

You can also ask your school's office directly.

What is deleted

• Your access: the email and password you sign in with, and the link to Google if you used it.
• Your profile photo and nickname.
• Your phones' notification codes and your app preferences.
• Your notifications in the app's inbox.

What is kept

School records are not only yours: they are part of the file your school must keep. That is why they are kept, without access for you, for as long as the school needs them:

• Enrollment, grades, report cards and attendance.
• Charges, payments and receipts.
• The messages you sent, until they are deleted under the chat retention rule (at the latest at the end of the school year).

If you want any of that data deleted as well, say so in your email and we will review it with the school.

If you just want fewer notifications

You don't need to delete your account: in the app, under Settings › Notifications, you can turn some notifications off, or turn off MisNotas notifications in your phone's settings. You can remove your photo and nickname yourself under Profile.
