MisNotasTerms of use
These terms govern the use of MisNotas: the web portal, the mobile app and this website, offered by K-Soft (Guatemala City, Guatemala). By using MisNotas you accept these terms. This is a translation; if there is any difference, the Spanish version prevails.
1. The service
MisNotas is a school management platform: grades, attendance, homework, schedules, communication, payments, transportation and points of sale. Each school subscribes to the service and gives access to its staff, teachers, students and parents. Commercial terms (price, term, support) are agreed separately with each school.
2. Accounts
- Accounts are created by the school or activated with the invitation it sends.
- Each person is responsible for keeping their password safe and for what is done with their account. If you think someone used it without permission, change it and tell your school.
- The school can deactivate an account in its community at any time.
3. Acceptable use
When using MisNotas you agree not to:
- Try to view or change information that isn't yours, or get around the platform's permissions.
- Send offensive messages, harass other people or share illegal content.
- Impersonate another person or record false information.
- Disrupt the service (attacks, automated load, reverse engineering).
Messages can be reported and the school reviews them. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms.
4. The school's responsibilities
The school decides what information it records, is responsible for it being accurate and for having the necessary authorizations from parents, guardians and staff, especially for minors' data. Grades, attendance and academic or administrative decisions belong to the school.
5. Personal data
We handle data according to the privacy policy. You can request deletion of your account at Delete my account.
6. Intellectual property
MisNotas, its design and its code belong to K-Soft. The information each school records belongs to that school. Copying or reselling the service is not allowed.
7. Availability
We work to keep MisNotas available at all times, but there may be interruptions for maintenance or due to provider or internet failures. Phone notifications depend on the connection and each phone's settings, so we cannot guarantee they always arrive.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, K-Soft is not liable for indirect damages or for decisions made based on the information recorded on the platform. Our liability towards a school is governed by the commercial agreement with it.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. We will publish the new version on this page with its date; if the change is important, we will also announce it on the platform.
10. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Guatemala. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts of Guatemala City.
